Aseel Karadsheh: the first Arab woman to win a calisthenics world medal

Aseel Karadsheh holding the Jordanian flag with her medal: the first Arab woman to win a world medal in calisthenics, WSWCF World Championship, Riga 2026

In August 2026, at the WSWCF World Championship in Riga, Latvia, Sager coach Aseel Karadsheh won a medal and became the first Arab woman to win a world medal in calisthenics.

Another first

It is the second historic result for Sager in two years. In 2025, Adham Al-Sqour became Jordan’s first world champion in calisthenics in Sofia. Aseel’s medal in Riga, held from 14 to 16 August 2026, opens the same door for women across the Arab world.

The championship

The WSWCF, the World Street Workout & Calisthenics Federation, runs the sport’s world championships, bringing together athletes from national federations around the world.

Why it matters

A world medal proves the level is reachable. For every woman thinking about starting calisthenics, Aseel’s result is a simple message: the path from your first pull-up to the world stage exists, and it starts here.

Train with Aseel

Aseel coaches calisthenics with Sager, teaching the same skills she competes with.
