Sager Calisthenics Team Built Against Gravity

A competitive calisthenics team and the coaches behind it. Real strength built with bars, rings and bodyweight — from your first pull-up to the world championship stage.

  • Muscle-up
  • Front lever
  • Planche
  • Human flag
  • Handstand
  • Back lever
  • L-sit
  • Pistol squat
  • Freestyle

The method

The bar doesn’t lie.

Two taped hands gripping a steel bar against a black background
Grip. Hang. Earn it.

No machines and no mirrors to hide behind. Calisthenics strips training back to you, a bar and gravity — and every rep shows exactly where you stand.

Our coaching runs on progressions: small, measurable steps that turn a dead hang into a muscle-up and a wall handstand into a freestanding one. You always know the next skill and what it takes to earn it.

  1. 01

    Pull

Pull-ups to muscle-ups to front levers. Grip, back strength and the patience to earn every rep.

  2. 02

    Push

Dips, pike push-ups and planche leans. Pressing power built from the floor up.

  3. 03

    Hold

Handstands, L-sits and flags. Static strength is where control turns into craft.

World Calisthenics Championship Legacy

  • Adham Al-Sqour with his gold medal: the first Jordanian world champion in calisthenics, WSWCF World Championship, Sofia 2025
    Adham Al-Sqour World Champion · Sofia 2025
  • Aseel Karadsheh holding the Jordanian flag with her medal: the first Arab woman to win a world medal in calisthenics, WSWCF World Championship, Riga 2026
Aseel Karadsheh World Medalist · Riga 2026

Sager athletes carry the team name onto the international street workout and calisthenics circuit. What they learn on that stage comes straight back to the bars you train on.

  • World champions

Adham Al-Sqour became Jordan’s first world champion in calisthenics in 2025, and Aseel Karadsheh the first Arab woman to win a world medal in 2026, both at WSWCF World Championships.

  • Judged standards

Skills are coached to competition criteria: difficulty, execution, control and clean holds.

  • Coaches who compete

Sessions are led by athletes who still put their own skills in front of judges.

Questions

Before your first rep

Do I need to be strong to start calisthenics?

No. Foundations starts from zero and every movement has a scaled version, so you build strength by training rather than needing it first. Most members get their first strict pull-up within the program.

Can you build muscle with calisthenics?

Yes. Bodyweight training uses progressive overload just like weights — you add difficulty through leverage, tempo, range of motion and volume instead of plates.

What should I bring to my first session?

Clothes you can move and hang in, water, and chalk or grips if you already have them. Bars, rings and parallettes are all provided.

How old do you have to be to train?

Youth sessions are for ages 8 to 16, grouped by age and ability. Adult programs are open from 16 up, with no upper limit.

How do I get into the competition squad?

Through trials. Coaches look at skill level, consistency and attitude. Most squad athletes come up through Skills Lab, which is the best place to start.
