In April 2025, at the WSWCF World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria, Sager coach Adham Al-Sqour won gold and became the first Jordanian world champion in calisthenics. It was Jordan’s only gold medal of the championship.
The championship
The WSWCF, the World Street Workout & Calisthenics Federation, runs the sport’s world championships, bringing together athletes from national federations around the world. The 2025 edition took place in Sofia from 24 to 27 April.
Why it matters
Until Sofia, no Jordanian athlete had won a calisthenics world title. Adham’s gold showed that athletes trained in Jordan can stand on the top step at the highest level of the sport, and it set the standard for everyone who trains with Sager.
